We are Kenkou. Our App “Stress Guide” helps people to reduce stress and lower the risk of suffering from heart-related diseases. Stress is the number one health issue of our times, but our app can truly change the way we understand the role stress plays in our lives. If you are able to accelerate our current hype and grow us by x10 you will not only help to solve one of the biggest health challenges of our times but also become one of Europe’s leading growth marketing experts.

How awesome would it be, if you would do good and at the same time become the hottest Growth Manager in town?

This is what your job will look like:

  • Taking responsibility for growing the number of app downloads
  • Developing, executing and testing growth strategies
  • Building and pushing the Kenkou brand
  • Doing market, competitor and user research
  • Discussing and defending your decisions with stakeholders

What is it like to work @Kenkou?

We are a diverse tribe of App Developers, UX Experts, Bioinformatics, Industrial Designers, Doctors, and other Health Specialists. And together we are on a pursuit to disrupt the health industry.

Our office is located in a modern coworking space in Berlin’s most underrated district, Alt-Moabit. All our employees benefit from free drinks, snacks, fresh fruits, coffee, tea, and an easygoing company culture. We will equip you with a MacBook Pro, an iPhone and 26 days of paid vacations.

In our tribe we believe in curiosity. Because curiosity helps us to push boundaries and by that also ourselves.

Your background:

  • 3+ years experience in growing a digital B2C product (ideally bringing it to product/market fit)
  • Successfully managed five digit marketing budgets
  • Mastered traditional tools of a Growth Manager: Google Analytics, HubSpot, MailChimp, Hotjar, Unbounce, Buffer, etc.
  • Fluent, native-level German and fluent English
  • Strong Plus: Experience in digital health and the Berlin startup scene

Why you will love working @Kenkou:

  • You will take a leading role as our company continues to grow. We need talented people like you to ensure focus and progress
  • You will be more than just a colleague. You will be part of a passionate tribe and we will do our best to support your personal growth
  • Together with the management team, you will build up a marketing department from scratch
  • We definitely have NOT the best coffee in Berlin, but the quality and range of our tea collection remains undefeated

We are looking for someone, who:

  • Is smart but not a smartass
  • Knows how to get shit done
  • Understands growth as a process
  • Has a strong urge to take ownership
  • Is curious and a communication talent
  • Has devoured “Mindset” by Dr. Carol Dweck

Get in touch if you think you have what it takes to grow our business.

Pro Tip: Instead of writing a dull cover letter with a shallow self-description you could show us how you are going to grow Stress Guide and Kenkou. That would be impressive.

In your application, please feel free to note which pronouns you use (she/her/hers, he/him/his, they/them/theirs, etc).
